Install brushes in Photoshop

If you’re new to Photoshop and found some awesome brushes but you just can’t figure out how to install these brushes? It can be a pain in the ass. In this quick tutorial I will explain you how to install brushes in Photoshop.

Step 1:

First thing we do is, click on the photoshop brush tool.

Brush install: brushtool

Step 2:

Now click on this ‘arrow’ like shown on the screenshot and a menu box will drop down.

Step 3:

Now, click on this ‘arrow’ and now another menu box will popup on the right side.

Brush install: load brushes

Step 4:

Next thing we need to do is click on ‘Load brushes’

Step 5:

And go browse to your directory folder where you saved your brush set/pack.

Step 6:

All you have to do now is click to open them, And that’s it.
You have successfully installed your brush set.

If you do get an error, this could mean that the brush packs does not match your Photoshop version.
Always check the brush pack for it’s version compatibility.
